Hamster Taming Service
We offer a taming service for nervous Hamsters in the local area. You would need to deliver your pet to us and provide adequate food for his or her stay. The length of stay is entirely up to you, good basic results can normally be achieved in 2 weeks but sometimes may take longer. We also offer owner taming classes helping with basic handling and taming skills on a visiting basis.
Owner Handling Classes: 5 pounds per hour
Weekly Boarding/Taming: 10 pounds per Hamster per week
Holiday Hamster Boarding
We offer a boarding service for your Hamster whilst you are away on Holiday. He or she would need to be dropped off and collected from our premises in their own cage and will be offered the highest standard of care whilst you are away including daily exercise and handing time should that be required. If you wish the Hamster to be cleaned please bring your usual nesting and bedding with you, we can provide food if necessary but are happy to follow your individual care instructions.
10 pounds per Hamster per week.
Stud Service
We have males available for stud, various colours but all have good temperament and are free of genetic health conditions, please contact us for more information. We reserve the right to refuse this service to anyone we consider to be attempting to breed in an irresponsible manner.
About Us
Who are we?
We are small hobbyist breeders of Syrian Hamsters based in Colchester, Essex. All our Hamsters are bred for good temperament and make excellent pets. We handle the pups from 3 weeks making for friendly and confident Hamsters used to all situations they will encounter in their lives. From an early age we encourage them to use the exercise ball, potty and allow them supervised free run time to build up their confidence. By the time they leave us they are all extremely tame.
All Hamsters from us come with a supply of their current food, a basic care sheet and family history and full aftercare support for life via telephone, email and our dedicated Hamster care forum www.hamsterfanaticforum.co.uk
We also offer advice on choosing the right type of cage, accessories and basic health care.
Should your circumstances change and you can no longer care for any of our Hamsters we will gladly take them back and rehome them, we do not like the idea of our Hamsters ending in in a rescue center and will do anything to prevent this.
We charge a competitive adoption fee for our babies, this is around what you would expect to pay in a pet shop for a Hamster that has never been handled and may be prone to biting. Please use the form on this page to ask any questions, we will be pleased to hear from you.
